Yes! Multiple gym members can share the same heart rate monitor (as long as they're not using it at the same time).
Just follow the steps below:
The max range will vary based on environmental obstructions (walls, workout equipment, etc.) between the app and your heart rate monitor(s) and the Bluetooth capabilities of your phone or tablet.
In a gym with a high number of obstructions we've seen a max distance of 30-50'. However, there are a number of steps you can take to make sure you achieve the highest distance.
The most important is to make sure there is an unobstructed line-of-sight from your phone/tablet to each heart rate monitor.
If you're coming from another heart rate monitoring app you should see the same range you saw in other apps (all apps communicate with the monitors in a similiar manner).
If you're having any issues related to range send us an email. We can help diagnose any issues and get you setup with a possible software-based solution.
You can register your clients from a single phone/tablet (owned by your gym) or have your clients sign up on their own devices.

The maximum number of heart rate monitors that can be connected depends on the Bluetooth capabilities of your phone or tablet.

If you need to show more gym member on the screen you can use our Boost Mode feature! Boost Mode lets you run Heart Rate Ninja on additional devices support more Bluetooth connections than one device alone.
The required cable depends on your specific phone or tablet. Searching the web for 'YOUR DEVICE to HDMI' should return an appropriate cable. Most iOS devices will use a Lighting-to-HDMI cable.

These profiles will still exist and can rejoin your gym at a later time if they become active again by re-entering your invite code.
